Menominee County’s preliminary budget looks strong for the upcoming year


Menominee County Administrator Jason Carrivou presented the proposed 2021/2022 budget to the county board yesterday evening with complete aid. While there were being some improves and decreases in the budget total the county will be commencing out potent heading into 2022 with $4.1 million in the fund balance that is a 47% starting rate for the funds calendar year. Carrivou states, “overall I am very delighted with exactly where the county stands fiscally proper now, the only detail that is hanging above us like a dim cloud is the pension legal responsibility until finally it is taken care of.”

With the preliminary numbers hunting great and profits at $8.2 million for the county. The board will satisfy in two-weeks to approve or regulate the 2021/2022 price range.
