Fashion Outlets Mall of Chicago reopens in Rosemont after one person was shot and killed, girl wounded


The Fashion Retailers of Chicago Mall re-opened Saturday in Rosemont, one day just after a fatal capturing.

Rosemont Police reported they have viewed security video clip and talked to witnesses. They have a single individual of interest being questioned in relationship with the taking pictures and believe that the taking pictures was focused.

When pictures rang out inside the Fashion Stores Mall Friday night time at about 7 o’clock, shoppers commenced screaming and operating. Some sheltered inside of suppliers concerned that there could be much more taking pictures.

A shop personnel named Mya advised FOX 32: “We obtained all the shoppers in our break area and waited it out. We were scared.” She returned to do the job Saturday, and explained she was not involved about safety.

Joel Valdes, 20, of Skokie was killed. A 15-calendar year previous girl was shot in the wrist.

Law enforcement say two adult males took off in a pink car, which was pulled over in Chicago. One particular person was taken into custody. They are wanting for a second suspect.
