Shoplifting:

09/05/2020- Officers responded to 131 Bloomfield Avenue (Sally’s Natural beauty) on report of a shoplifting incident. The retail outlet manager observed a younger Hispanic male walk into the retail store and seize two flat irons and fled the store with no shelling out. The flat irons are valued at $157.00. This incident is underneath investigation. A photo of the suspect is integrated.

 

09/06/2020- Officers responded to 35 Lackawanna Plaza (Invest in Ceremony Liquors) on report of a shoplifting incident. The retail outlet supervisor noticed a Hispanic feminine enter the retailer putting on a grey shirt and blue trousers. The woman then grabbed two bottles of Johnny Walker gold valued at $132.00 and fled the shop without paying out. This incident is below investigation.

Theft:

09/01/2020-Officers responded to 26 Bloomfield Avenue (Laundry Zone) on report of theft. The complainant experiences that her dresses from dryer 112 ended up stolen someday between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on 9/1/2020. 

09/04/2020-An officer took a report of a stolen bicycle that transpired on 08/27/2020 at 357 Broad Avenue (Quick Check out). A resident noted that his sons Huffy bicycle was stolen by a Caucasian male putting on a red hat and purple shirt. The bicycle is valued at $600.00. This incident is less than investigation. 

Theft from Autos:

09/02/2020-An officer gained a cellular phone report from a resident of East Almira Street. The resident reports that her motor vehicle was parked overnight and an unknown suspect entered her automobile and stole many products valued at $30.00. This incident is less than investigation. 

09/03/2020-Officers responded to the region of Smith Street on report of a theft from auto. The complainant parked his vehicle on 9/3/2020 at midnight. When he returned at 6:00 a.m. the car was rummaged via. There was no compelled entry to the car, and the vehicle was left unlocked. Taken from the automobile was approximately $400.00 funds, a debit card and air pods. This incident is beneath investigation. 

Burglary:

08/31/2020-Officers responded to the place of 186 Newark Ave on report of juveniles trying to attain entry into unlocked motor cars. Patrol officers located and charged many juveniles with attempt burglary. 

09/02/2020-Officers responded to Conger Road on report of a burglary that transpired among August 20, 2020 and September 3, 2020. The resident seen the back door was a little ajar and it appeared that the door was pried open up. A secure was taken from the residence. This incident is under investigation.
